Medical 3D models were created in collaboration with the doctors specialists in prenatal diagnosis: dr hab.med. Marcin Wiecheć, dr n.med. Agnieszka Nocuń, cardiac surgeon dr hab. Jacek Kołcz and dr Andrzej Zmaczyński, specialist in gynaecological endoscopy.
For this project we cretated 28 3D models of fetus heart prezenting properly functioning heart and examples of various congenital disorders. 3D models became a very significant tool in gynaecological education for doctors interested in prenatal ultrasonography and also were used at consulttaions with parents, whose baby was diagnosed with congenital heart disorder.

On the basis of 3D models of fetus heart and in collabortaion with dr inż. Piotr Podziemski (Holobits Software) we created Fetal Heart VR – an application using VR technology. This application is a mobile personal simulator for fetus heart diagnosis education. By using Fetal Heart VR we want to transfer the possibility of USG test training from expensive simulators at universities to a personal method available at every gynaecologist office or clinic.

Next project are the models of woman’s reproductive organs for hysteroscopy education purposes. Apart from models of properly functioning uterus our project contains also models with congenital disorders and pathologies. Thanks to the way the uterus is fit in the frame it is possible to get used to the movements during particular stages of procedure. Apart from educational purposes our models can be very useful and important while consulting patents.
