Coolbox

Industrial design

Coolbox – a refrigeration device designed to receive purchases. Coolbox lockers can store food products, both fresh and frozen.

The subject of the project was to create a solution that allows you to pick up purchases without having to enter the store or stand in line. But most of all, without the need to interact with other people (which is extremely important in a pandemic era). The result of our activities is a free-standing device. It can be located near the store, but also outside its area, e.g. near a housing estate or an office center. Thanks to the introduction of three temperature zones (cooling, freezing and neutral), Coolbox is able to store a variety of products. These can be: dairy products, meat and cold cuts, fruit and vegetables, frozen food, confectionery, drugstore products or pharmaceutical products.

The design challenge was to create an easy-to-use solution, not only for customers, but also for service. Therefore, a very important element of the project is the complementary design of the mobile application together with the device interface – read more about the project.

The entire project, including the concept stage, design project, UI / UX projects and implementation, was completed in less than half a year. All this thanks to intensive cooperation with specialists from Es System K. The product is now available on the manufacturer’s website.
